It moved across the Rhine to Alsace, where pie crust replaced the bread, and the filling was tons of onions. Then moved to Lorraine, where the onions were moderated. From there, France took it up and added cheese.

This is an authentic recipe for Quiche Lorraine. Most English language recipes use cheese, which is incorrect.Dara Tarollihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02375957381596013453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113237857981963778.post-16552657994195128732016-03-09T17:31:23.660-05:002016-03-09T17:31:23.660-05:00Hi, Wendy! I don't think it's critical, as I've also tried this bread in smaller pans with good results. Once you find which size works best for you, make a note and keep doing it (and let me know! :-)) Thank you for your comment.Pat McDermotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17969402820726235963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113237857981963778.post-91566048066145372842014-03-15T19:43:05.665-04:002014-03-15T19:43:05.665-04:00Hi Pat, I've been making this bread since my s...Hi Pat, I've been making this bread since my stay at Anam Care in 2007, but I never have the right size pan. To keep it from getting soggy, I pack it in a big mason jar. I put the dressing at the bottom, then the toppings, and last the lettuce mix. When I am ready to eat I just shake the jar, works great!Garage Door Spring Replacementhttp://www.repairphoenixgaragedoor.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113237857981963778.post-58520729121328440372013-01-20T16:01:57.360-05:002013-01-20T16:01:57.360-05:00So glad you like it, Dawn.
